HELLO, Fort Kent! I am an American who has been working in Germany with the US military for over 5 years and have been home sick for 4years 9 months, 3 weeks and 5 days! While here I married a German woman who grew up in a VERY small town that was all she knew for 22 years. But I was looking for a Very nice and small town in the states and I found you guys, so she sent me to Fort Kent for a week and after I showed her the pictures of this wonderful town she told me, we are moving to Fort Kent! We even found a great house we can buy out right! Thank you for being awesome! I AM COMING HOME TO THE COUNTRY I LOVE! Again your town is beautiful and I can't wait! even with the 13HR flight and the 6HR car drive, Fort Kent is worth it! Thanks again -Jason

First time visiting the guestbook, if Rudy or Diane Daigle reads this, please respond. Just notices way back when you placed a comment, your address was Topsham Me. I worked there 1 1/2 yrs traveling twice per wk. Wouldn't that be a shame not to have visited you during all that time! I was working at the Topsham Family Practice located right before the "Brunswick Overpass" Lorraine Raymond Deschaine

Kwe / Hello all, loved my time camping in Fort Kent, Maine. Me and my wife Winojean loved the muskie fishing and the PowWow -- the sunsets are just beautiful. We and our family look forward to the 4th of July celebrations. And the little ones love camping and canoeing at the Park's Lakeside site, there by the Fort. Have a good one, Jack Mahwewa and family.

I am looking for an old friend who worked for the US Forest Exp't Sta in New Haven Conn during the 60s. He developed some good methods for working with Gypsy Moth. He was from Ft Kent. His name is Gil Laveque or Lavesque. I'd like to sit down and talk with him about all sorts of good times we had such as painting caterpillers.
